And, back we go to Chris Walls vineyards out on the western side of Orange for this delicious Cabernet based Rose.
The cooler climate of Orange brings out the fragrance of the Cabernet making a lovely, fresh rose. After crushing the grapes the skins are left in contact with the juice for 24 hours to get colour and flavour out of them.
The resulting wine is darker in colour than most people expect from a rose. It is sweet, but not overly so, and has a firm finish.
