| 2022 pigscato
moscato is undeniably fun. i often finish dinner parties with a bowl of gelato and a glass of moscato.
it seems to make far more sense than tackling a bottle of port at the end of an evening. it almost seems you sober up as you drink it????
the pigscato is made out of white frontignac and hunter valley black muscat, which is in my opinion the king of the muscat family. the wine is full of lychee and rose petal character while the palate is sweet, but still fresh and lively.
it's not at full carbonation, so the bubbles just tickle the tongue and it has a slight bronze blush.

| 2022 pigbrusco
pigbrusco is a light, chilled, sweet red wine designed for immediate drinking.
this one is made out of cabernet from orange and you can pick up some of the mintyness on the nose.
these wines aren't designed for cellaring or food matching, i think of them as just nice little drinks. having said that, i wouldn't hesitate to crack one with a plate of cold meats and cheese and good company.

| 2022 House of Bricks Grenache Shiraz Viognier
we have access to a grenache vineyard down in mclaren vale, south australia that was planted in 1897. it's a wonderful old vineyard that produces grenache grapes a bit smaller than what you normally see, resulting in a wine that's deeper in colour with a bit more structure than the average grenache.
we have blended a bit of shiraz in to create mid palate then put in a pinch of viognier to soften the tannins and lift the aromatics.
this is an age worthy style of wine that will pair up to game dishes such as venison and duck.
try it any time over the next decade.
