over the last decade we have been working on introducing more traditional varietals into our fortified reds. grapes such as touriga nacional and tinta roriz have been phasing out varietals of shiraz and cabernet in our fortified shed.

the end result is a lighter, drier style of tawny.

tawnys are popular drinks as you can open them, have a sip and reseal them. once opened, they keep for extended periods, unlike most wines.
