here at piggs peake, we have moved our verdelho sourcing to the upper hunter in places like broke and denman. there's a slightly different climate up there that seems to particularly favour the ripening of verdelho. 2024 was a hot, dry summer, meaning these are the best verdelho years, as it brings out the big, tropical flavours that we always want to see in this variety.
